Is nyc designed that much different from London it's dense and full of apartments so idk wymThe issue with infrastructure in America has less to do with taxes and more to do with the fact that the way we have designed our cities makes maintaining them too expensive.
Increasing taxes is one way to generate revenue to address the problem but it’s not a sustainable solution long term. Eventually the property taxes just get way too high for anyone to afford.
It isn’t just NYC. It’s every city.

Americans been brainwashed on the idea of the US being the greatest country in the world. That idea is just now starting to wear off on Gen Z and young millenials.
I think it's more of a culture shock for an American to move to UK/Canada than the other way around, especially if they are conservative. UK/CAN residents already consume a lot of our media
