21yr old leader of the discord group, Thug Shaker Central. Air National Guardsman.

Heavily armed law enforcement could be seen at a Dighton address associated with Teixeira Thursday afternoon. A person who came out of the home put their hands behind their head, backed up slowly, and was taken into custody outside the home.

It also goes to show how many Latinos are part of the MAGA crew. The kid is alt right and the discord group he was part of was alt right.

He's the grandson of an immigrant from Portugal.

(Since this is TLR, I'll note that Portugal is the name of a country in Europe.)

:ohhh:

That does not sound very top secret secure.

1.3 million Americans have Top Secret security clearance. Of course, that's not nearly enough to get access to those particular documents. But the sheer numbers of people who have to have access to such information in a democracy as large as ours with a military as big as ours is mind-boggling.

That's why most conspiracy theories that involve operational secrecy over large portions of the government or military are such hogwash. You can't keep secrets of the level required considering the sheer numbers of people who have to know them.

That's wild. why do you think leaks like this one doesn't happen more often. Is it just the penalty of treason that deters them
or is it actually difficult, skill wise, to leak these documents

I don't really know. I don't think it's difficult at all to leak them. So I don't know if folk avoid leaking more because they're afraid of getting caught, or because they personally feel it is wrong, or possibly because they just don't see the point of a leak.

My guess is that way more stuff gets leaked privately than publicly, because leaking something publicly is so hard without it coming back to you. But with a private leak, wouldn't you be shook that the person who is hitting you up for secret documents is actually just FBI testing your loyalty? Or even if they're not, once you leak something they now have dirt on you, wouldn't you be afraid of the blackmail possibility and what they might ask you to do next?

Makes a lot of sense.
With the MAGA wave though I feel like more leaks is on the horizon because military personnel including those with security clearance are predominantly
conservative and MAGA leaning and we know A)They don't give a fukk and B) They are dumb as a rock

It was all a staged show. The dude was on his back porch reading a book when they pulled up. They were watching him from a chopper. I saw the photos on Twitter. The news/media was tipped on the arrest before it went down.

Two or three squad cars would’ve been enough.
Snowden all over again. Biden had over a dozen Marines blown up and killed in his disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. How many US citizens or soldiers were harmed due to this Bozo leaking a couple of mediocre PowerPoint slides?
:patrice:I remember when you were calling for cops to gun down shoplifters. Now you believe they did too much in trying to apprehend this little Nazi poster boy.

Teixeira, who used online handles that include “jackthedripper” and “excalibureffect,” posted the images to Discord, a chat platform popular with gamers, people familiar with the case said. Some Discord members showed The Washington Post video of Teixeira shouting racist and antisemitic slurs before firing a rifle. Like some others interviewed for this story, they spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.

russia was just a stop, he got trapped there when the U.S suspended his passport. he was on his way to Venezuela or argentina. U.K government literally told him not to come there because they didn't want a diplomatic crisis with the U.S.

what secrets did he give to russia?
Doesn't negate the fact that he broke the law and didn't stand on his consequences in America.

If you don't believe that he shared intel with Russia that's on you.

We don't have to agree on him being a hero or a villain. That's that.
