Here's the thing about these racist fighters, people pay to see them. If you set up a fight between Bud and Te'o, people would pay to watch. Teo gets the bag regardless if either he wins or loses.

Boxing is a sport that was blatantly racist from is roots. The colour bar is a real thing. Both in the UK and overseas. When Jack Johnson won the heavyweight title they cut the film when he won. Jack also knew the racist element and played somewhat into it to promote himself (initially didn't fight black fighters as champion).
