His wife is being completely insensitive. If you were to come to me and seriously be hurt, I would do my best to adhere to your feelings, and try to justify the situation. I can't believe that the daughter wouldn't suggest having her biological father at the reception, and her stepfather to walk her down the isle. I would think that she would at least entertain the idea of having two dances with both of the fathers that are in her life. And, her step father is still paying for everything.... She should feel some type of way about that. I hope both the mother and daughter are able to read his words... seeing it in black and white, from his perspective might shed some light on the truth.

Did he help raise the children so they could disregard their father or to keep them from becoming victims of the demonic realm. I think he has valid concerns but in the grand scheme he should give himself a pat on the back for keeping those kids from reaching less productive potential by being there for them.

I think the daughter is showing disrespect though and it may have to do with the fact that her biological father is a Dr. and the prestige that carries. Polishing a turd for appearences on the wedding day because it looks better for parties involved. He should know his limitations on paying for everything. Money is the root of all evil in many ways, and this is but another example.
