Ultra Street Fighter IV (PC, PS4, 360, PS3)

Basically what this means is that this is probably the last update to SFIV on the PS3/360. Come out with Ultra SFIV HD+ Remix...then move on to SFV to milk money out of people for the entire PS4/XBOX ONE generation.

Capcom's game in this has been seen since the 90's...this aint new. Only Nintendo and Activision do it better than they do.

not really any different than a new madden or CoD every year luckily this only cost 15$

people gotta understand that theres a competitive community for certain games that are always anticipating balance updates and new characters/maps

some people literally only play street fighter 4 and no other games ...for them this is a huge deal

Breh that's what software updates are for (look at KOF, DEAD OR ALIVE, Persona 4, etc) if we're talking fighting games. I mean let's be honest a brand new game isn't needed for additional content.

It's a money game plain and simple. Can companies release complete games? Yes. But look at the money these companies are making off of DLC content alone (not including the initial $60 you already dish out).

They've just made it a staple in the gaming industry now (and no it's not just capcom) cause they have a audience for it now who will gladly pay for every 'update.'

15 bucks for whats pretty much a new game in the sf4 series is a good price considering the fact that ppl in fact pay 60 bucks for updates to games like Madden, 2k, etc.

Rebalancing, most likely. That being said, I never bought the SFIV games new, so I think 40 bucks, is very fair for 5 new characters all the costume DLC new stages and a rebalancing of the characters.

I gave up after AE, but I had a tournament decent Rog. Nothing entices me to buy it, but the point is that competitive play makes these iterations not only viable, but central to the ongoing popularity of the game, the franchise, and the developer. There's not really an analogue for this phenomenon in the wider gaming sphere, but rest assured that just because you don't like it doesn't mean its a bad call. Mad people will be hyped for it, and on the game goes.

Yeah the one good thing about Street Fighter is that there is no shortage of people who play it so you wont have a hard time finding people to play against.

I wonder if some of you anti-dlc people understand how supply and demand works at the end of the day NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO BUY IT! Yall like the people who complain about things on TV if you dont like turn the fukking channel it really is that simple.

As a fighting game fan I have no problem with DLC I rather them continue to support a franchise if the demand is there instead of letting it die even though the demand is there(UMVC3 and I dont even like that shyt lol)
