speaking eloquently is not intelligence. his strength is charming people not smarts. none of this grift was smart it was more like a man in over his head motivated by narcissism and idealism. possibly well meaning initially but not SMART enough to get help and work with others the right way. he wanted all the glory but free labor. you ask if something is wrong with him? most definitely but something is much more concerning about the people who follow unfit "leaders". i'd be worried at the fact that he still has an audience held captive and overlooking his lies. multiple deadlines not met, fake progress reports, that sort of thing. and they still go to bat against people that expose him.
i'm genuinely amused you still think highly of him... this is a major part of the problem, his moral currency as an individual should be bankrupted. yet you still calling him intelligent. he wasn't smart enough to even make a swift exit path that's why he's still stuck selling dreams, he has to ride it until the wheels fall off or it miraculously works out, that's the plan at hand. it's either gonna be 10 years of updates or people get wise and look away n let him flop in peace.
up next the window panes... he's gonna count every glass replaced and make updates n keep that progress report stretching like it's doing something. meanwhile he should already have had 1 full cohort of students graduate this school based on his original self made deadlines.
