The mans name is Dr. Umar Johnson. I notice a lot of c00ns leaving out the Doctor. That man has more education than your entire bloodline.. And that's facts.

Yep...I've already said this on another forum and I'll do it here.

There's many dynamics with how the Board operates..and I've been silent watching some of y'all spew misinformation about degrees and licenses..I'm a psychiatrist and I have first hand knowledge of how the state regulates psychologists and psychiatrists since I'm licensed.

To practice school psychology in most states, all you need is a master's degree and state certification to PRACTICE in schools. You can also practice but not DIAGNOSE but can classify children as needing special education. You can be a school psychologist without the need of a doctorate..

The problem for Umar may be restricted to licensure through the Board. In order to be licensed you have to pass the state board exam called an examination for professional practice in psychology. ANYONE with a degree in psychology can take this exam..and once you get a thumbs up on passing you can work in hospitals, clinics, etc.. and freely diagnose. I don't think Umar took the licensing exam and/or failed it and fukked up by presenting himself as a clinical psychologist instead of a school psychologist with the ability to privately practice. This is the crux of the issue..Umar got his shyt through the back door and because of this, he has to specify PERIOD what his degree specialty is in since anyone with a psychology degree can take the state licensing exam. It may seem nitpicky to y'all but presenting yourself as a clinical pysch without the approval of the state is heavy..they probably focused on those clips because he probably fukked up and said he was a "psychologist" without clarifying...yes, they will fukk you over for a small gaffe like this.
