everything you outline justifies the need for donationsNot at all. I fully understand why he would need money to remodeling. What I am questing is the sustainability of keeping the school open. It is expensive as hell to run a school. How is he going to pay for teachers, and other employees salaries? How is he going to pay for utilities, school supplies, lunches, etc... Is it going be through tuition, or is it going to be publicly funded charter school? Or is it going to be through a combination of donations and tuition? If that the cause, how much money a year will the school need to raise to keep it afloat. These are not unreasonable questions. Again, if he has answered these questions before please link it to me. I want this to be successful, but at the same time I’m not going to blindly follow him or anyone else.
Unlike all the "Black schools" that many of these disingenuous "woke" individuals constantly post in order to discredit Umar's efforts, there're no non-Black input, endowments or government funding involved to ensure the curriculum and agenda isn't compromised
there's still much more to be done, but this man has a school building.
