Chemistry is a big factor. I definitely agree with that, but one must also consider whether or not someone is a good match. In the beginning things are always hot and heavy, but when the passion dwindles a little and you have to deal with each other's differences that's another story. Now if you do not want to have kids things could actually work. On the other hand, if you want to have kids it's good to find a person who's morals and views parallels yours.
All I'm saying crossing the path of a religious man is one thing, but for things to go far is a whole other thing.
Very few religious folks are going to be so risky in their choices. Most likely he will be looking for red flags and he will breeze, especially if he is true to his religion.
