I'm gonna throw this story in the mix. This happened last year at the largest water reservoir in Mass. It was coincidentally right down the road from UMass.

The Quabbin is the main water supply for the city of Boston btw..

BELCHERTOWN (CBS) – Shortly after midnight Tuesday, seven people were caught trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir.

State Police say the five men and two women are from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, and “cited their education and career interests” for being in the area. The men told police they were chemical engineers and recent college graduates.

Update: No Connection To Criminal Groups

The Quabbin, in Belchertown, is one of the country’s largest man-made public water supplies. Boston’s drinking water comes from the Quabbin and the Wachusett Reservoirs.

State Police say there were no warrants or advisories on any of the individuals and “there was no evidence that the seven were committing any crime beyond the trespassing.”

All seven were allowed to leave and will be summonsed to court for trespassing. The FBI is investigating and routine checks of public water supplies have been increased following the incident.

The seven individuals currently live in Amherst, Cambridge, Sunderland, Northampton and New York City. Police have not released their names because a court date has not been set.

A lot of them in fact. A lot of Iranian leaders have US education.

I am a little concerned that their leaders seems to be better educated than ours

I really had no idea we were giving visas to Iranians. Our "arch enemies".

The American people and the Iranian people get along pretty well. The issue has also been the governments for the most part. The Iranian-American communities in America go about their business quietly and there is almost no radicalization like you see in some Sunni communities. They tend to be more educated and financially well-off in a general sense.

That being said, letting Iranian students come here to get Nuclear Energy degrees seems to contradict the foreign policy stance.

Dog everyone comes to the US for school.

I'm always amazed how people don't understand this.

People don't know how many Chinese and Iranians come here to learn. The number of students from the Gulf Arab states is insane as well. I think for some people who grow up in parts of the country without large schools it might be hard to understand. Also, if you tend to be in non-STEM degrees, you are exposed a lot less to foreign students since they mainly come here for STEM related degrees.

When you get a STEM degree in America, you get a minor in "Understanding Accented and Broken English"
