Why do people use stuff like this for "leverage"? Like if a 40 year old man, or any grown man for that matter, is abusing minors why on earth wouldn't you expose them? Even if you're friends, wtf are you doing? You gonna protect a pedophile if they're your friend/business partner/etc..? If Drake didn't go forward with all this they'd never come forward with any of this.

I think it's in a gray area actually. Drake may have done some questionable things like grooming teens. But nothing illegal, like I doubt there is any evidence he did any sex acts with anyone underage. And even so the age of consent in his home country is 16. So While having sex with a 16 or 17 year old when you are in your 20s and 30s is viewed very negatively it's not illegal.

There’s been mumbles about it under the radar for years but I dont think anyone took it serious. After the lawsuit they prolly put a magnifying glass to it and found some credible shyt that will help their case.
