Im sorry but this new level of internet blck activism sketches me out and ill tell you why.

-There seems to be no integral focus on legislation or economic anything...
-Its all mired in emotion and logic seems to fall to the wayside
-You are using a platform from a company of 3000 that doesnt even have 50 black employees to get your message out.
-it all reeks of wanting to be accepted by the dominant society

In fact I see this on my tumblr dash everytime i log on. Optimistic, creative, and talented black people getting their visions and works drowned out by the loud ignorant masses of self important people who really dont have any talent, any creative, or even any identity other than being black. They really dont care about uplifting the community in a beneficial way they care about uplifting themselves and could give a fukk all about anyone else.

As well...they are way too accepting of outsiders...which doesnt even make sense.

To act like Black Twitter was directly responsible for those things is being disingenuous.

And a lot of those companies gave half ass apologies or didn't apologize at all.

And the Black Lives Matter movement has been appropriated and neutered by the mainstream so that movement can't even be viewed as a major accomplishment.
