The Weeknd's buzz is starting to fade, his next project is going to have to be a monster or he'll get lost in the shuffle.

People said the same about Frank :manny:

We'll see. Frank buzz started rising again once he dropped Pyramids and listening sessions went well and previews were going :favre:

That Kyle nikka can't be serious, as much as I like to talk shyt about Drake, in just four short years this dude has fathered a style many are imitating - kirko, this Kyle nikka, that June kid (altho I guess drake signed him?)

I think this is one of those things that cuts both ways

Weeknd can't really wait what years for drake to figure out if he really wants OVO to be a real label, while the "nice" thing would been to have drake as a production deal

Drake and weeknd didn't grow up together and 40 or Drake didn't produce any of the songs on trilogy

Taylor gang been able to drop a bunch mixtapes and Juicy J on his second single. But Wiz isn't really a label guy he too caught up in amber rose Vagina

But the rostrum guys or low key genuis for what they did with him and Mac miller, so I bet Taylor Gang and Juicy J as a reemerged renovated artist is being handled by them and not wiz

So Pyramids didn't come out before he came out? :kobe:

Frank released the letter on July 4.

Pyramids was released June 8.

NME Track Reviews - Frank Ocean - 'Pyramids' - NME.COM
Like Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’, Frank Ocean’s ‘Pyramids’ is the kind of track you’ll lose hours and hours of your life to. This week alone, NME has spent at least two days having our minds freaked on by its space funk swirl.

Frank Ocean's Channel Orange Album Details: Andre 3000, Genre-Hopping, and More | News | Pitchfork
While the Brill Building is mere blocks away from Def Jam's offices in midtown Manhattan, I like to think the location of yesterday's listening session for Frank Ocean's major-label debut-- Channel Orange, out July 17-- was based on more than mere convenience.

Countless American classics were born in the building's hallowed halls. So when a group of journalists sat down in a small, dimmed studio to take in the album, there was already a sense of history in the air.

http://www.grantland.com/blog/holly...s-frank-oceans-channel-orange-listening-party

Channel Orange is a strange, beautiful thing. Like some combination of Stevie Wonder’s Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants, Beck’s Midnite Vultures, and Marvin Gaye’s Here, My Dear, with ripples of George Benson’s Beyond the Blue Horizon tossed in, it is simultaneously reaching and small.
John Mayer — yep, John Mayer — who adds two show-stopping solos on “Pyramids” and “Pink Matter.” To say this is the best musical thing Mayer has ever done is probably fair

All before dude came out.
