Our grandkids are going to be the ones living in small communes, trying to grow and scavage for food. By that time they'll be accustomed to it.

It is US and our children who'll be the ones that will live through collapse. Which will be the most dangerous time period.

Sure, but China is responsible for twice the amount of total emissions regardless of population. I don’t know what the deeper implications are, but generally speaking, China is worse for the environment than the US, even if it’s just because their population is much larger.

Regardless, I agree that the U.S. isn’t doing enough to curtail our emissions. But does China even care at all?
