I have to say, since Nigerian been pro Black, his threads are always interesting, not necessarily agreeable but interesting. It kinda explains a weird dynamic of not being accepted by no one group like being an Indian with no home. Nigerian life reminds me that as a Black person, especially a 1st gen, the lack of being around your own community can be lethal injection in the human mind. So many dynamics effect the Nigerian throughout his life.

As strange as @The Nigerian comes off sometimes at least it's not fake and based strictly off what he reads and experiences on the Internet.

All in all I feel like you are a some what conscious black man, that tries to get off with white privileges which just don't work for us.

Having white skin automatically makes things you say less threaten and intimidating to people.

Well, it's been beat into my head that all that sh!t can get you arrested. I'm very conscious of this. From a young age it's been reinforced in my head that being sexual in public will get you locked up. I remember teachers telling female students not to date me because I told off color jokes. I would make jokes in class and a few teachers would respond by saying things like "None of you girls should date [The Nigerian]. Just stay away." Like, I've *never* seen teachers do that sh!t to anyone else. Just me. It happened all the time.

I remember guys I grew up with telling me that every girl that expressed interest in me was a "whore" and that I shouldn't mess with them because whores are nasty, right? Then those same guys would turn around and get with those same chicks they were telling me were total sluts!

As I've gotten older it just seems even less acceptable to be caught flirting with women. Like, the sh!t is damn near a crime.

Let me take a wild guess...Were these teachers/friends white?...and were the girls in class and the "sluts" also white? Also, were you one of the only black men (or one of few) in your class and group of friends?

If so, then I have a theory as to why they were warning "white women" away from the sole black man? :thinking:

I live in NYC dawg. Im around people of all races. Seems like you just dont have a grasp of how black mnn are perceived outside of the black community.

Then again when you work with the public as a black person you get a taste of it whether you like it or not. Obviously you dont have any idea of what I'm talking about so really there's no reason for me to even continue this dialogue with you.
