Halo Reach almost put me to sleep. The only other game that did that was Killzone Shadowfall.I could never get into Halo. I tried with the MCC again and was falling asleep during campaigns. Both are completely different genres and both are highly respected within their respective genres. Comparing the two isn't really fair. Uncharted vs Tomb Raider. Halo vs Killzone is a better comparison.

You right, hell the last of us bundle is outselling the Uncharted bundle on Amazon. The action adventure genre that Uncharted is in never put up Halo type sells though, Tomb Raider series on PS1 was the most successful in the genre until Uncharted showed up. Another thing is Sony only spends about 20mil to make a mainline Uncharted game, Microsoft pays nearly 4 times that to make a Halo game and we not even including marketing which would easily take the investment past 100 mil. Sohh Uncharted may not get as many sales as Halo, but take a wild guess which company sees more net profit

I'm guessing he's comparing sales which is kind of silly since Halo been a big franchise since 2001 while UC really took off when UC2 dropped in 09.

halo plays like none of those games and was he first of its kind on consoles.Halo plays like every other popular FPS nowadays.. noone's missing much by not playing it. On the other hand, most action platformers are still playing catch up to uncharted

And I'm sure halo was making more money, halo 3 sold like 15mill, plus millions of dlc, plus the odst dlc sold millions

Plus the halo series online modes always have more life and the fans and developers support them
