I don't necessarily see why this is good news. Yes, Uncharted 3 was a step down from 2 but she was game director on the entire trilogy, so obviously she got a whole lot more going on than just ruining Uncharted 3's plot. :yeshrug:
Part 3 was complete shyt compared to part 2, bad enough that I played them back to back........Don't care about this bytch, hopefully this change helps a fading franchise, a franchise I thought I could never do no wrong

Why does this shyt matter, video game writers must be the most untalented human beings ever created, they are less important to society than the people working in the local McDonalds.

:what:

You obviously need to play better games if you feel like that. This ain't Atari 2600 days any more.

thoughts:

- fukked up she's gone, uncharted has been a great series so far...doubt she'll have trouble finding work..

- glad to hear uncharted still on schedule..

- i hope this doesnt mean uncharted will be darker now...it's not supposed to be that...it still needs to have the light hearted angle to it...

It's impossible for some of you cats to be unbiased.

She was the creative director for all 3 "Uncharted" games, in addition to writing them. She led the team that created the games, and was in charge of every single decision involved in them.

I realize nobody wants to admit this could potentially hurt the "Uncharted" series (for obvious reasons) but completely ODing in the other direction on some "fukk her, she's nobody, her writing sucks, we don't need her" is :snoop: as hell.

I think it's just that we've played both games (Uncharted series and TLOU) and we know what's good.

The same way you say it could potentially hurt Uncharted can be said for it actually making Uncharted better... considering what the guys who are taking over just dropped, which is one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had the opportunity to play through.

Seems like the only people confused by our reactions are people who probably never played the two respective series.

Please tell me you've played the last of us and uncharted 2. if not, play those two games and then play UC3 and then tell me if you are really worried.

None of that has anything to do with anything brehs.

People are praising "UC2" as if she had no hand in it. She was the creative director/wrote it. That's basically her game. Bruce Strately was the Game Director, they handle the business aspects of the game. He's getting credit for her work, basically. "TLOU" is an incredible game but Strately was working on "Crash Bandicoot: Racing" when Hennig was working on "Legacy of Kain". The guy has 1 hit to his name, regardless of it's quality.

Now, as far as whether or not the "Uncharted" series would be improved by the creative mind behind "TLOU" running it....that's not a monolithic opinion. Hell, this thread can't even agree on that.
