Are you saying that Luke wasn't the one who kicked the door down for sexually explicit rap? If not who would you say did?

I'm saying that I agree with this mentality where people automatically give props to elders, but I don't think Luke isn't deserving of his props.

I would have agreed with you if:

1. He didn't go through all of the legal battles to not get rap censored

2. Hold it down for South Florida

3. Had some of the most degrading yet fun stripper music ever invented that literally changed rap as we know it.

Plus no Luke / Miami Bass - turn up/ and fast paced southern rap would be infinitely different.

i dont think you have to like it but to call it corny is reaching. If you lived in miami, you probably would think differently. Every region has a certain sound. Miami had that miami bass booty shaking sound. thats the miami i know. rick ross and trick just brought you a more gritty version of miami. when i think of dc i think of go go. Chicago - i think of the perculator.

Luke came here and got one of our better clubs shut down. Then the owner tried to blame it on Luke...like he aint know Luke was gone brang them hoes out.

The club was freshly remodeled and they closed that ni99a doors for good after Luke left
