If anything, Uncle Murda should be appreciative. If Skillz hadn't started the series 20 years ago, nobody would be checking for Uncle Murda once a year. On top of that, his version has to be as disrespectful as possible because artists who take the bait keep the conversation going.
Uncle Murda can rap better than Mad Skillz, he’s funnier and wittier too, no one wants to here 20mins of Mad Skillz on a track, Murda pulled it off.
He does it better though.
Whether he does it better is purely subjective. I will never respect dude blatantly biting Skillz and then disrespecting him after doing it. And honestly, Murda isn't really breathing fresh air into it. The sheer fact that someone had to post he bodied Murder Inc. and Irv Gotti and has Yayo on the adlibs had me thinking he went back and remixed the original "Rap Up" from 2002.

Skillz didn't diss Murda until Murda started doing the rap ups.
But why would he diss him for doing the rap ups? That’s corny barely anyone was paying attention to Skillz version, and just cause someone does something first doesn’t mean you can’t recreate and try do it better?
The thing is, Uncle Murda isn't doing it better and he is even ERASING history by pretending that Mad Skillz never did it in the first place, on some culture vulture shyt

Skillz was doing these yearly and calling them "Rap Up". Who else was doing this? Skillz was doing this for like 15-18 years before Murda started doing it. Why couldn't he have created something similar and just called it something else. What Murda did was the classic definition of a vulture: take something that's dead or dying and make it look like you started it.
Kind of the nature of the game, UM lucky no other rappers really care enough to do it. Mainstream and rappers with connection gotta avoid it to keep connections and everyone else don't really care.
But believe you me, if for some reason one of these end of the year rap up get to trending on social media one year you might see all kind of them going forward.
