I guess I see why Kendrick talking would ruffle dudes, he is as light weight as you can get. Its bad enough Gucci Mane and Trinidad James is shining. NY realized they better stop being all hugs and kisses, last 10 years has been real detrimental. Notice Kendrick did not say one word about the South, this is the elephant in the room.

:stopitslime:
Big krit and j cole ain't from the south

Murder killed this shyt, and he dissed ASAP rockie Lil fruity ass and 2 chains:lolbron:

look at the motherfukkers from new york dropping responses

uncle murda, joell ortiz, papoose :scusthov:

nas and jay just gon drop one line and it'll end the discussion, these peons need not be offended because they personally will never be the king of new york. part of the reason ny fell off is because people do not deem these artists as good enough.

there's definitely some talent in ny, but it aint these brehs :scusthov:

honestly joell aint even half bad he has a lot of decent to dope songs. slaughterhouse already gets props as lyrical rappers from everyone. matter of fact just a year ago TDE wasn't comfortable with a slaughterhouse comparison, now everyone up in arms cause they didn't get mentioned on a track.

NYC artist coming at Kendrick suddenly like they just now realized they had NY pride...lol Rushing over the Hudson like this...

shyt is disgusting breh, you aint have pride in new york when you tossing out corny singles over southern beats. i did hear kendrick sold out two NY shows on the same day within a matter of minutes :manny: maybe he was feelin some type of way :youngsabo:

i heard some people talking about the good ol days and having an identity that everyone gravitated to and jocked. they forget about the music being really good when they get nostalgic like that. i now see new york has the most 'identity-less' region of the country with no particular sound and a crabs in a barrel mentality. Lotta the rappers from new york didn't cultivate the next generation or give em the helping hand so instead you have a bunch of :flabbynsick: 50 cent, fat joe, ja rule, diddy, lox, etc.

now i aint hating, because new york still has the two greatest pillars of hip hop: nas and jay. let nas down and bytch dont kill my vibe are both reflections of both those guys standings

hes good in small doses. dudes got some fukkin tracks

Some of the joints you posted are cool/good, I think Uncle Murda just a bit TOO ignorant and limited for my personal taste, I like street shyt/hard shyt but also not straight up a$$hole music, I respect a dude that would kill righteously over the ignorant loud mouth type. I don't buy the credibility of what he's saying either. not saying he's straight p*ssy as I don't know him but it feels to me like he's trying too hard and is a gimmick, I don't FEEL truth and realness in what he's saying so I struggle to take him seriously.
