That’s a lot of receivers when they know they are decoys
I know enough about football to know a decoy. He was a decoy often in New England for Wes Welker and he was never jogging like that as a Pat. Just let it be what it was. He quit on the Raiders. That's why the Pats got him so cheaply then once he got there he tried hard again.

Let me rephrase this.... bad organizations can produce bad narratives....... If he was so fukking lazy.. why are his numbers comparable to an uber worker like T.O. ... and beyond that, he changed the way the NFL played Defense.....?

Im saying lol

Moss supposedly was out there half-assing a good portion of his career yet his career totals are damn near identical to TO's. That just means he was that much more dominant when he "tried"

TO was a harder worker but in terms of who was better at catching the football, I'm leaning towards Moss im sorry

Casual fan hot take

man plz, I'm a former athlete. My mentor & family friend was a coach for the Vikings under Mike Tice during Randy's prime years. I've been to multiple Vikings games, and I've been to team dinners with them. I have a unique perspective bc I literally saw Randy up close. He's a top 3 WR all time but he didn't run the full route tree, not bc he couldn't.

2 of the 3 best WR's ever. It's pure preference, and the arguments you cats are making are dumb. WR's can't control who throws them the ball, and they play with 10 other ppl when they're on the field. Why oh why do you guys hate context.

Man TO on the Eagles those first two years was one of the best WRs I’ve ever seen. Dude was a beast and he was in his early 30s. I’m taking first year TO on the Eagles over anybody >> :wow:

T.O. in the Super Bowl >>> Randy in the Super Bowl
I respect your football acumen as much as anyones, but TO only played in one title game his entire career. Moss played in 4(3 if u dont wanna.count the SF old man days). TO has no historically dominant seasons. He never even had 1500 yds in a season, think about that for a minute. The man threw the QB he had his most success with(Garcia) ruined a potential title team because of a petty grudge against McNabb. Then after reconciling, went on air in an interview and said the Eagles would be better with 29 pick Favre than McNabb. Then tried to act like what he said wasnt a big deal..hes a fake rebel who always claim he doesnt care but is always throwing fellow black men under the bus(Ray Lewis, Marvin Harrison, Donovan McNabb). Massa, I may be bad but I aint bad as them.

Moss was more athletically gifted than TO but that's it. TO was more consistent, more reliable (Moss would take plays off and not show effort at times), better at running routes (Moss was more of a deep threat WR that was used for big plays instead of moving the chains).

Towards the end of they're careers Moss was nearly :flabbynsick:and didn't give a fukk.

TO was still productive

TO would be Michael Thomas on steroids if he played in this era.

For me it's

1. Rice
2. Owens
3. Moss
4. Fitzgerald
5. Harrison

where's sterling and chris carter on your list?
