Nah I just don't get what your end goal is here. You're basically asking us when we got our first professional haircuts...

Like, what does that matter and what does any age brackets have to do with anything?

You think dudes from Gen X were paying for haircuts in the 80s and 90s that didn't end with it being lined up? :mindblown:
nikka I see pics of dudes with wonky hairlines from back in the day and I also see crispy lines. So I asked when yall first got lineups to see if the shyt was mostly in style because it was a topic in the comments :what: it’s not that deep

Also the pic is funny as shyt

Some say its the reason we got bald so fast..our line keeps getting pushed back with line ups.... I need to do some research.. i may stop giving my kids line up on the forehead

All the counter arguments I've seen against getting a line up only lead me to believe I'm talking to a person with a shytty hairline.

He's saying that breddas in the 80s got line ups, but that's not evident in the picture of the actor playing a young breh in the 80s.

Basically, Hollywood always messes up Black People and Black History.

It would not have been nothing to call 1 Black barber and 1 Black stylist to make D&D breh look like a Black Kid living in the white suburbs look like an actual Black Kid from that era.

They gave him high flat top!! It's not like they weren't trying, but they stopped at 20% - because white people don't care - and actor breh ain't got no pull.

Question just sounds like it's coming from a place unfamiliar with Black culture.

So he saw a picture of an anachronism and thought the rest of us who lived through the 80s may have looked like that?

That's whats weird to me.

You’re trying way too hard and don’t even get the point. :dead:

Breh, if you had a good barber your lineup was crispy. If you had a bad barber or you had a cheap non-barber ass pops who cut your hair, your lineup was trash.

Like its always been, even up to this day.

The answer is common sense, home-slice. :manny:

I mean it wouldn’t be common sense to me since as I said I see plenty of pictures of dudes with oval hairlines but I’ll take your word for it.
