Uncut ending to Little Shop of Horrors turns it into one of the most suspect racist movies ever.

The plant (and Pam Gina and the other one) is the only black character in the movie.

He's a monster but they go out of their way to make him a black substitute.

With the OG ending it's like if you trust one of em, they start multiplying and destroying your city/community.

It's subtle and I might be reading into it.

But I've heard too many suburbanites both express and imply that same thing.

I think you're reading into it too much.

Remember, Rick Moranis was killing people to feed the plant in exchange for money, fame and this girl.

I'm not sure that one would take, don't trust plants/black people, instead of don't do dumb shyt because it may turn out horrible

i thought you was referring to the lack of people not white being in the city. equating a plant to black people moving into a white neighborhood because it's voice actor might be black :patrice:.....................that's some mr. fantastic reaching.

First off, that's a dope ending and they probably should have went with it. Secondly, I see what the OP is saying, but I don't really think that is what is being implies, but they DID use the American flag to open up the scene with the Black women and all that, so maybe. The white man is the devil, but this may be a bit of a reach. Either way, interesting view regardless.

That's the ending that was used in the play the movie was based off of.

And the voice actor was black, singer from the Four Tops
