No you're not - because you wouldn't have put -"Blake is his training partner and knows all his secrets" and "his strength program, added weight - causing loss in step" as reasons to why he lost the race. His times over the last 2 seasons would say otherwise.
Alright man. I know this is The Coli where everybody's an expert and nikkas have an infactuation with arguing over the smallest of things. I'm a Track and Field head and I've seen damn near every race of Usain's since '08; and also saw a special on this new weight-lifting regime he was on where they acknowledged that he had put on some weight. They originally wanted to put him back in the 400m and try him out in the long jump, so they thought he needed more durability. But whatever.......
He lost the race, simply on his start, he wasn't able to gain momentum/pull-in Blake in time.
And for your information, he lost 10lbs last year through his strength/conditioning program.

You do know his weight has fluctuated throughout his career? And I'm not talking about this particular race, I'm talking about since the World Championships in '09. He's been from anywhere between 190 and 205. And when he hurt his achilles back in 2010, his "trainers" partly blamed that on trying to revamp his strength/conditoning program, although Bolt brushed it off and said he was "slacking off" and not fully fit.
at you trying to break down start mechanics to a former Big Ten 60m runner. I already mentioned his start so stop
. You do know that his start has never been his strong point, but his mid-race acceleration and top-end speed have always been superior? That's why he's better at the 200m (although some believe his best event would be the 400m).
Dude is gonna be false-starting in the Olympics.
