Even if I had millions there's zero practical reason to own a $100k+ car for me. You drive it too much it depreciates and maintenance. The only reason is to show off to people you got money they can rob you of. No thanks I'll stick to Toyota and Acura.

If I won a large sum of money (talking at least 5 mil or more).

Recently I wanted to buy a Porshe which would cost at least $150k. Luckily, I came to my senses when I realized that car would tether me to this high paying job I hate even longer than I want.

I have no reason to ever have a 100K car and if I wanted to drive an expensive me I’ll just rent something for a bit. The kind of cars I like are normally under 100K (genesis for example).

I’d probably need to be easily clearing 300K annually to have a 100K car. But I mean I’m in the $70,000 and above range so it’s not that far off in a few years the type of cats I like will probably start creeping up to 100K unless something changes. But right now as someone who clears above 140K I can’t afford it.

Never

I’m not into cars like that, and I don’t care about people seeing me drive a car, or any attention from driving said car.

And to put it into perspective, even at 60 months, that’s $1482 a month, over $16K a year on a car that will depreciate, and has more expensive parts, and needs premium gas.
