Underbelly season 1 was about the Melbourne Gangland War that took place in real life from 99 - 2006
40 people got killed from both sides.
Involves Irish mob, Calabrese N'Dranghetta, Outlaw MCs, Russians and a lot of others. Season 2 & 3 are good to but there based in the 70's and 80's events leading up to the war.
Anyone who hasn't seen it I suggest watching it

Yeah wasn't as good as the first, the Christopher Flannery, George Freeman and Corrupt cops story at the end of the season was dope but. I think the ep is called "Lucky Man"

dope series...was probably one of the first shows I marathoned on netflix ages ago...they had like the first 4 seasons...had to find the last 2 online

I was hoping the BMF series would be handled in a similar fashion before 50 picked it up...I still have hopes of it not being as watered down and cartoonish as ‘power’ has become

ya an actress from either season 1 or 2 of ‘underbelly’ was also on spartacus...she was the noblewoman whose husband was killed when spartacus took over their town and she eventually became his love interest
