I can't emphasise enough the need for cutting off "that friend" ,

The people that you surround yourself with are a reflection of you, associate yourself with ain't shyt people and surprise, surprise; you ain't gon be shyt .

Associating and befriending intelligent people will motivate and educate you, it is perhaps the most effective motivational tool as you develop a competitive nature with these people. So instead of hitting the club every weekend, maybe hit the library or join a book reading group

Of course it would. shyt would kill me & leave me no free time

I was doing 40 hours at $28.00 and OT anywhere between 10-20 hours at $42.00

For whatever reason on earth would i get a second job? Unless it was a strip club or hooters manager

I worked a 8-1 and then 2-10 plus OT plus rotating Saturdays for over a year. Changed my life. Increased my wealth and earning potential. I know who I am and what I'm capable of. But follow your own path. Everything is not for everyone. Do your own thing.

I might eventually tell my boss to block it at work... I waste WAY to much time at work on here.

But real talk though. I had two jobs by the time I was 18. I was doing 60+ hours a week. It was awesome, and I was pulling over 2,500 a month to add to my little savings . I go to school full time, and currently work full time.I want to pick up a something on the side, but I'm not sure what to look into. I want to get licensed in something though while working on becoming a speech pathologist. Life is crazy, but it is what it is

Thanks for the suggestions. Some of it is nice to at least read. I apply certain things.

What works for some may not work for others. Finding what makes me tick, like u said, accepting self (Strength, Weaknesses, and Desires) is very important.

What you said about "friends" is tricky tho, I see a lot of picture post on Facebook about these issues.

- That "one friend who needs to be cut off" may save my life one day, but yeah, sometimes removing myself is important for the time being. But God's in charge with everything outside of me. Contacting old friends and employees out of the blue for me, not a good thing. My motives and and old behaviors have to be checked constantly. When one door closes, another opens. Do me, not in control of others.
