i believe black men imprisoned for drug use/dealing are political prisoners and should be released. so, no, you're wrong about me thinking all "behavior" that spawns from poverty should be penalized. i recognize the drug trade within our communities as one that emerged as a necessity in the face of discrimination. i do believe that we should harshly penalize those who are committing all of the murders in our black communities. what is the alternative? rallies? useless rhetoric? and where do you get that i believe in economically disenfranchising blacks?

black people disenfranchise themselves. blacks in the streets who act like idiots sour the opinions of many who look at people like us and assume we're the same. am i wrong? is it incorrect for me to say that streets filled with black men walking with their pants hanging off their ass and ratchet black females with weaves isn't tainting non-black america's opinion of us? it's a fact. you're not dumb. you're a smart guy. you know what i'm saying is factual.

right now, we are our worst enemy. it isn't white people we need to worry about. it's us.

i didn't say you believe in economically disenfranchising blacks, i said your solution to that problem is the same as white supremacist.

i agree with this, and you're right that we've had this discussion before. i'm not disagreeing with you that whites will still find a way to hate us. but it will be HARDER for them to do so, and other minorities who'd otherwise adopt an anti-black attitude during the course of their assimilation into white society would be more sympathetic to our plight if we did away with the degenerate behavior. i've had discussions with asians about blacks, and how they don't understand why we refuse to scold those who are making our community look bad. i know that the pathology of the black underclass is damning to our mobility as a community at large. you can't dispute that.

but, yes, i do agree that whites would prefer we act like uncivilized and uncultured idiots. that's one of the reasons i'm so adamant that we don't. i believe part of our resistance to white supremacy is to refuse this cultural resignation that's taken place in many black communities around our nation. we should walk with pride and treat each other with respect. unfortunately, many of us do not. and that is not the fault of white people.
