This is gonna be so corny, but lately my favorite purchase was a canister of "Barkeeper's Friend"

It's a cleaning powder that has my All-Clad pots and pans shiny as hell. No water marks or anything.
Cost me $2.

The zero need of needing the computer. Especially if you're talking about using a TV that's not part of the mancave or entertainment center, just a TV in the kitchen or something.

Nothing, I guess.
Just that it's wireless.

Rather than having the cable running across your living room, you just plug the Chromecast into the HDMI port and tune to it whenever you want to stream to it. You just hit the Input button until you come to it.

But if you're fine with your HDMI cable...there's no need to buy it, honestly.

I was just planning to use this on my PS4 but it works flawlessly on PC and the range and sound is pretty damn good

i like using my phone as a remote, and i mostly it for the big screen tv. once you get one, you'll see it's just way more convenient to control than always having to go over to your keyboard and mouse. plus if you are watching something you can just transfer it back to your phone or another device like an ipad if you need to move.

also majority of media apps have support for chromecast and more each day, so if you want to show something to your family or a friend, instead of handing them your phone to watch you can just throw it up on the big screen. $40 for something you use everyday is a damn good deal.

Need more info on this. Moving into a new house soon and I plan on cutting cable as well. I need info so I can get the hookup on everything right.
