andre the giant was an unstoppable monster too but not even he could measure up to the power of the 24 inch pythons and an arena full of screaming hulkamaniacs. not sure anybody could have. it's the same reason ivan drago couldn't beat rocky. he was bigger and stronger but rocky had more heart in the end.
brock is a monster but he's up against tomato cans right now. any huge draw in their prime would no doubt be able to beat him. you think stone cold would get violated like Cena did? not happening. it might end up taking 2-3 stunners to get the job done but eventually Austin would come out on top.
Kayfabe wise, it didn't matter. It took the 22 tries and nobody had ever done it before.
I think you're confused by what I meant by the term strong. I'm not talking about who is going to get the win at the end of the match and I'm definitely not saying he's gonna be dropped in any era and be pushed over that era's the top guy (Hogan/SCSA).
I'm saying he's on pace to be the most untouchable guy in history. He's dominating on another level and it's based on truly fukking people up to the point where it seems real at times.
Nobody in history can claim that. Andre the Giant (who wrestled the entainmemt based WWE style) was a monster due to his size. He wasn't trying to maul folks though. Hogan used to get his ass kicked throughout the match. The hulk up was cool, but you knew it was wrestling and showmanship. Austin was a brawler, but he used to get his ass handed to him too.
Look at anyone's resume over any period of time and nobody is dominating like Brock. The best thing is that he's doing it solo without any fukkery or cheating. He's just kicking ass.
