Damn near 15 years ago man

We have not seen a good one on one matchup with Deadman Taker and "super" Cena

And nah, their 2006 encounter don't count since it ended in DQ after like 6 minutes :hhh:

Undertaker old as fukk bro, that match would be trash now. 2007-2012 timeframe was the time to do it, but the pre-match hype would be better than the match itself. At least Braun lets Taker do a big man slugfest where he doesn't have to take many big bumps

Despite the hate i can still see cena as a good matchworker, Strowman is good but not good enough to carry taker to a decent match

Obviously fake - the rumour is missing two vital storyline elements.

Taker was at the WM34 press conference. Wouldn't surprise me if he said he'd wrestle at next year's Mania so they postponed the Cena match till next year, and will give Taker a different match at this Mania since it won't be his last :yeshrug:

Smart move. Cross promotional match between the future of the wwe and the past.

Braun strowman can't face any ole body.

If this goes down cena goes on to face Aj styles for the belt at mania.

Man why don't they just do the Cena match and Taker can retire damn
They missed the boat. I dont need to see this match anymore. It really means nothing when the Streak isnt on the line and it doesnt mean anything anymore now that Cena is a part timer. I can see him losing more now that he busy in Hollyood & not worried about being on every show. Super Cena 24/7 been dead since 2015.
I was hoping for a Taker/Goldberg WM match.

Its never happened before, is a dream match and believable that Taker at WM would be one of the few guys strong enough to beat Goldberg clean and gives a bit of parity for Brock beating Taker and ending the streak. A Pro Wrestling Rock/Paper/Scissors - Brock > Taker, Taker > Goldberg, Goldberg > Brock
At first, I didnt want to see this match but It makes sense to just put 2 old timers together to put on a Nostalgia match for the former "Monday Night Wars" crowd. HHH vs Sting wasnt so bad and made a WWE vs WCW match come to reality. This could happen as well (but it wont :(

Plus, Brock interfering would make sense too

Taker vs. Finn Balor really writes itself

Old monster vs. New demon

+ no LOGICAL option on the roster would benefit more from the rub than Finn

Retiring Taker would actually give his Demon character some creditability.

Right now, he's the cosplay guy everyone forgot about.

I just cant see Finn realistically standing with Taker

Finn like 5'9'' 180lbs

Taker like 6'8'' 250lbs

Finn really should be a cruiserweight champion but they werent thinking cruiserweight division back when he debuted in 2013 so he sitting in the "Rey Mysterio" roster slot

Midget Upper-Midcarder for his whole career

I know this is all dirt sheet shyt, but I have absolutely zero interest in the possibility of the Strowman match. Unless Braun gets a win (unlikely), or somehow takes Taker out to remain looking fairly strong, there's nothing really good to come from him being in that match.

It's not like wrestling Taker at this point in his career is a rub in itself. He's on an extreme part time schedule. He's going to do his part but he's not making anybody look like a million bucks or anything. I could tolerate a match against an established guy on the down side of his career or another part timer, but the only match I really want to see from Taker a one-on-one with his couch watching Wrestlemania on TV just like me. :manny:
