He instantly killed what was left of DDP's career in one night. And then kept pounding it into the ground for the next 3 months. I've never seen a dude go out of his way to make someone look so bad for so long like Taker did with DDP. It's pretty gross, really.

Yea him and Vince apparently hated that DDP insisted on rehearsing and planning their matches. You know, cheographing for predetermined matches. Because it didn't work for guys like Savage and Hogan. So they intentionally buried him. Bu...bu....but HHH

Exactly. The only reason they ended the streak was to build up Brock so Roman could eventually take him down. Before Bryan's injury Brock was supposed to take the title of him at Summerslam and squash him, making fans hate him even more so when Roman beat him he'd be the most over babyface. But none of that went to plan.
Then again, they're still saving Brock's next clean loss for Roman so I suppose Vince always gets what he wants in the end unfortunately
