Underworld Franchise Getting a Reboot

Lakeshore Entertainment is rebooting their Underworld movie franchise.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the producers have hired Priest screenwriter Cory Goodman to pen a fresh start for the franchise, which has earned a $459 million worldwide since the 2003 original debuted.

The last entry, 2012's Underworld Awakening, was also its biggest hit, grossing $160 million worldwide



Screen Gems have distributed all the films in the vampires vs. werewolves series, which made Kate Beckinsale an action star
