I think most will agree that Kobe was the more exciting player to watch.

If Lebron was a Spur his game would be appreciated more.
Make the extra pass, box out, lay it up, cut, move off the ball, etc
But he tried to be like Jordan early and he wasnt built for hero ball. He was built for team ball, like Duncan.
Jordans hero ball could also use elements of team ball, and still look great out there.
When lebron uses elements of hero ball he just looks trash a little bit more than half the time.
