Why do people get so bent out of shape?

I deleted some classmates and friends that I have a tenuous relationship with. It's not that big of a deal to me.

I must admit in my younger days, hell even last year - I may have taken great offense. Now I couldn't give 2 shyts.

What say you?

Unfriending people is basically saying you don't fukk with them for whatever reason. Social media is a big deal for people these days. If someone I'm cool with unfriends me my first thought is why? A lot of times when a person does this their is some type of emotion behind it. You aren't just going to delete someone you are cool with for no reason because than what's the point of that?

I don't care that much about instagram. I don't even really feel that compelled to update mine. Social media culture has just become one big annoying headache in my book.

I just do tumblr...and I almost have about 3,000 followers.

I don't even brag about it...it's just more like therapy to me.

Tumblr is all about following blogs and reblogging whatever you like...music, photos, gifs, videos, etc.

To answer your first question all you would have to do is to go back to how you felt last year.

Me tho, I barely have a social media presence. On FB, I only use it to keep up with my nieces and nephews. I used to like it back in 07, 08 when it was easier to find people than it was on myspace.

I never got into the whole friending people you don't know thing so I only have about 50 friends on there. I don't use anything often enough to even care about unfriending anybody. And I damn sure don't notice if they do it to me.

Only time it should bother someone is if they were steadily keeping up with you so I guess you could be flattered. Or maybe they just want those numbers.

Tumblr would probably be simpler for you. You don't have to worry about all that bullshyt. There are only a couple services that tell you if somebody unfollowed you. And you can pretty much stay to yourself if you wanted.

Last year, I just probably would have been slightly upset. I have way more emotional control now, after having reached some personal goals. I wasn't even thinking about the girl and I have 2 messages from her this am. They were kind of frantic, which is weird because of how we left things.

She may want the numbers. That's her problem. lol

Idk about guys, but when females unfollow each other on social media it's more bitterness or w/e behind it. I just mute/ignore a person if they annoy or bore me
