So how are you going to talk to a dude whose being to multiple shuras with tribal leaders about this?

If you are so well-versed about this subject you would know a number of things such as,

1. The Taliban are not a tribe. To assert such is extremely strange given your alleged past experiences.
2. You would also agree about the essential core of my original post, which was about the limitations of U.S. military power to defeat its foes. (Your inability to understand that is amazing by the way)
3. You would be able to perceive the worth of policies the U.S. is pursuing in the region in regard to trying to destroy terrorist/militant groups such as the Taliban given their inability to defeat them militarily.

The problem is you go to some villages they don't view them as a terrorist group...they have sympathizer as well...the Taliban is a unique organization...they aren't all combatants..

But this isn't about the Taliban

remember the fallen on Memorial Day

Right. Not all Afghans view the Taliban has being bad for their society (which is probably why their insurgency is winning in Afghanistan..) however most American policymakers and government officials do (which is something I have already addressed). Memorial Day is flawed unless the day is placed within contexts which explore how hundreds of thousands of Americans have died to extend dreams of Grandeur from rich white men on the Potomac.

Which justifies using "weapons of mass destruction" I suppose? The irony of American politics, society and everything about it is mindboggling

#INHERENTLY

Inherently evil...but let's not act like they didn't do a sneak attack on Pearl Harbor...this was when countries vs countries was the thing you want to beat the whole country.

Not a group of terrorist or a faction.

Why is that?

I don't have time for the trolling. where ever I go I try my best to leave it better than I found it. If it crumbles after I left I know I helped for when I was there...good bad or indifferent.

Oh, I'm not trolling. I'm just wondering why you're willing to sacrifice your body, your mind and your spirit for an endeavour which may fail because of the policies of a government which obviously does not share your perception of the Taliban.

I do the same in community outreach programs also...at the end of the day if I can look in the mirror and know that I've done my best I call it a success.
