I'm thinking the media push is gonna determine if there's mission creep, because now u see Al-Jazeera guests saying if Iran could only respond with this, then there was no r3ason for the U.S involvement. This might end up backfiring as it looks like a bailout of an ally that initiated attacks.

They'll need to perform a little bit for their people, but they've been restrained enough not to flood the Straits of Hormuz, nor have they attacked the U.S bases seriously.
