Nah. Not at all…. It’s a legit concern…. What if a side effect is suicidal thoughts ?
what if it is? What if the side effects turn you into a unicorn? Consider the source, pearl clutching over side effects is a slippery slope meant to inject doubt in the entire process.

The logical answer is: we don’t know what the side effects are and if this cancer vaccine is going to mature into a viable product we should let the patients and doctors make the call.

Having an awareness of side effects is one thing . Fear mongering over side effects is only meant to destroy any real discourse about the product in the first place.

That's just a common mutation of cells that happens to people over time. There's no cure for a mutation that occurs in any cell at any time. This is a lie. They cannot stop a cellular mutation when they don't know where and when it's going to happen.

It's going to cause more confusion and more mistakes in the care of people. That's all it's going to do.

You are going to attach outside mRNA to your cellular processes and what exactly is going to happen?

What are the side effects? Where is the mRNA coming from? Bats?Rats? Pigs?

But a lot of them did tho. Are you a doctor or scientist?
A lot of them didn't, actual scientists understand/stood the circumstances of the pandemic. Now that we're seeing studies into the harms of actually getting covid long term, the covid vaccine should be the least of your worries.

I was precisely as respectful as you were.

:skip: You're a very trusting black man. Wait, are you black? Nfs, all kinda ppl be on here.

Now??? Under Trump?

I was just prefacing our back and forth to ensure we don't delve into personal attacks. Not that you were disrespectful. I appreciate your posts.

Yes, I am black (see profile picture). No, I am not very trusting, I am actually in school now doing papers and extensive research on vaccines and Healthcare ethics literally just yesterday. I'm also very well versed on the systematic treatment of black people in regards to perceived pain vs white people and the higher mortality rates for black women giving birth in hospitals. There are problems inherent in the healthcare field due to the prejudice, explicit or implicit, of the professionals themselves.

What I am not concerned about is the regulatory drug approval process letting a medicinal treatment slide through that harms us as black people, intentionally or unintentionally, or people in general. The process is about as iron-clad as you can get as of now, there's always room for improvement as new technologies and advancements occur.

Yes, under Trump. When it changes, we'll know - they will sound the alarm. The medical field is generally apolitical (excluding abortions and euthanasia) and will buck back like a raging bull if fukked with.

You gonna pass on the treatment? :usure:

They already did.

The Food and Drug Administration has removed webpages about diversity and inclusion in clinical trials for cancer drugs.

The page for Project Equity, a 2021 initiative launched by the FDA’s Oncology Center of Excellence to ensure that cancer drugs were evaluated for approval based on data from a diverse group of study participants, has gone dark.

The program aimed to develop policies to make clinical trials for treatments more accessible to people who had been underrepresented in this research in the past. The removal comes amid the Trump administration’s push to terminate diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility programs and initiatives.

You are indeed a very trusting black man when it comes to believing Mr. Charlie and his ilk

It's a voluntary program. While it's a blow, it's a jab and no where near a knockout.

I am referring to the legal and regulatory framework regarding clinical studies.

Check the NIH Revitilization Act of 1993
21st Century Cures Act
FDA Draft Diversity Plan Guidance
2023 Federal Budget Bill EDIT (this in particular codified parts of the regulatory process as it pertains to diversity requiring diversity action plans)

I realized I did not specify that so wanted to go into detail.
