the only reason to get rid of the DH is so that fat steroid guzzling Big Papi would have to play the field and look like a clown.

All they have to do is enter the 20th, not even the 21st century, and get rid of this self-policing farce and actually punish pitchers for that bullshyt. See how many pitchers are still pulling that after getting tossed and missing a start or two with the penalty getting worse each time you do it.

Maintaining split rules only makes sense if you are maintaining split leagues. Everything intermingles at this point so clinging to this is just dumb.
I agree, but it is what it is. And that would be a very subjective ruling

It's so obvious they should change it. The National league is seriously the only league in the world that doesnt have a DH Highschool has it College has it Japan has it etc. etc. I wonder why that is?

I'm okay with this as long as it comes with a redrawing of division lines.

NAY.

1. As was mentioned, fucc Big Papi, Jim Thome and these other old men padding stats.
2. As was mentioned, make these pitchers who throw chin music get in that box, too.
3. Using your bench is the only thing baseball managers actually do in-game.
4. some pitchers ...*gasp* ...can actually hit!

no. it aint football, play defense like everyone else.

you have stone statues on the wheelchair who cant field the ball for shyt prolonging their careers for no reason.

on other hand, a good hitting pitcher like madison bumgarner (4 hrs last season) gives your team an advantage you cannot simply buy and put in as your DH

I'm in favor of adding it to both, removing to both, or eliminating interleague.

"some pitchers can hit" is basically a misconception. sure, there are a few that can hit 2 or 3 homers... but a pitcher hits .230 over 100 at bats and everyone acts like he's amazing with the stick. if that guy was on your bench with those stats he'd be back in AAA before July. For every "good hitting pitcher" there are 7 that blow.

Take my team for instance - Jacob deGrom is a "good hitting pitcher" according to most, b/c he had a nice run last year. He's a converted position player so he obviously had a ton of at bats in his lifetime. His stats at the end of the season? .217/.234/.261 10 hits. He batted 8th the other day b/c he's a "good hitting pitcher."

Awesome!!!!!!! YAY for pitchers hitting! Pitchers are designated bunters. Bunting is the worst fukkin thing in baseball.

Do people not like interleague because of the DH, or because of how "sacred" baseball is & they want it to be like it used to be when they were kiddies?

They play 162 games. Is it crazy to fit a home and away series for all 30 teams in there annually?
