But Love is all world and all of that so shouldn't he have more value than a rookie who hasn't proved anything?

He's still an unknown, that has been the main argument used against Wiggins, you know what you're getting from Love vs unknown production with Embiid.
And honestly, they couldn't afford to take Embiid while he's injured, he has the highest ceiling in the draft but it's likely he misses the entire season.
They can sign a 5 during next offseason, at least find out what you have with Bennett and Wiggins.
Bennett had some good games towards the end of the season last year.
wiggins is the best prospect to have come along since Lebron damn near...Embiid is originally the player I wanted in the draft but I wanted 3/10...Things work out for a reason...We do need a Center but we damn sure don't know what Embiid is capable of...
