Clipse was aite but not touching HHNF at all IMO, them beats still sound crazy to this day. Go listen to Chains and Whips and then go listen to Ride Around Shining. The beats on this one sound like the lesser Timbaland beats where he doing too much with the sound effects versus his classics where shyt sounded futuristic but it knocked too. Plus the whole aesthetic is trying too hard to be on some grandiose Kanye type shyt, just falls flat to me and it feels like if you market it well enough you can damn near hypnotize mfs into thinking it's a classic. Pusha T is a master of marketing I'll give him that, just like Tyler and Kendrick.
I'm already listening to the new Westside Gunn more than the new Clipse, this joint has better beats too
