Samuel L. is still criminally underrated, though. He's had hundreds of roles, but he's only been the top billed actor a few times IIRC.

My father would agree with you. He always think Sam L>>>>>Denzel then I think about it and he might have a point cause Sam characters are more memorable than Denzel characters.

Sam plays characters, Denzel plays Denzel but he did great job as Maclom X and Alonzo that's about it.
