Some of these nikkas in the community don't know their family past their mother. And a large portion don't know shyt about their side of the family. I have a picture of me and my great grandmother when I was a todler, taken the early 80s. She was 89 at the time. she was born in 1892.. Emancipation was 1863-65. So her mother, my great great grandmother was born into slavery..
