The Jewish kid is taught that he comes from a people that out of the whole world, was chosen to be THE chosen people of the Creator of everything. They go thru a “holocaust” for 6 years and get their own land that is STILL receiving yearly payments to this day almost 80 years later…

The black boy is taught that he started as a slave. Then when the white man let him out “out of kindness of his heart” is continually lynched him whenever someone else decided to. Then when black people started fighting back by peacefully protesting, was beaten/arrested, had vicious dogs sicked on him along with being sprayed with high power hoses. And any leader that stood up to try to unite black people (Malcolm, MLK, Huey P etc…) is taken out in front of everyone under “mysterious” circumstances.

I’m all with holding ourselves accountable for the things we can control but the amount of focus to the “we were slaves” storyline (and everything that happened afterwards) is to keep us away from our real potential. It’s clear as day…

If Slavery didn't have lasting effects, then it wouldn't matter that our ancestors were slaves. And it wouldn't matter that white people's ancestors owned slaves..

But slavery does have very long term effects.

Just the simple factor of the money.

Our people were denied the wealth and your people collected the wealth. This continued after slavery and continues today. And YALL still got the money. Today.

If YALL were to come up off your ill gotten wealth and we were to gain significant wealth... then things may just start to balance out. There wouldn't be such worse outcomes for our kids vs yours.

There's lots of other factors that still affect us. I say that more so WE can be aware that we need to get our minds right. That part, no one can save us from. Even if they had the best of intentions, only we can focus our own efforts and thinking.

These nikkas that want to forget the past cause it was all bad should show us the way then. If they start building cities and have clean communities with tourism I’ll consider it
