I’m not hating. nikkas is literally in here saying this 8 bars of simplicity may put 3K over Nas for them. Son wtf is that about? Lol. I didn’t even say it was wack. But nikkas act like every word this nikka speaks is legendary. shyt was a regular degular verse with a nice flow.

I know it is only 8 or so bars, but people are actually calling it overrated. Who in here is saying its the greatest verse they ever heard? Who in here is saying its the best verse they heard all year? How can you say a verse that has a line like "what if we kill cop kids" is overrated given the current climate of America? Do you not see how much power something like that would have if it were released? It's not even a shock value line, but one that would brings home the point that our children die at the hands of cops, but people are screaming "Blue lives matter".

They went at Nas's neck over anti-vax lines and some of the lines from "Not For Radio" that he asserted as facts. I could imagine the media reaction if the version of "Cops Shot The Kid" with Andre 3000 saying those lines had been on the album. They would probably be calling for Nasir to be pulled from streaming platforms.

He suffers from anxiety and knows that his “myth” can’t live up to a solo album

He’s oftentimes not inspired to write. He once said that he writes only one or two verses a year


He has other interests for his creative output other than rap. He’s hinted in the past that he grew “bored” with rapping.


I also remember a story about him and Big Boi having issues with their label. Big spoke on it how the label didn’t want to release his debut solo album because it didn’t have a “lolipop” like single for them to push. When Big left and put the album
Out on Def Jam they wouldn’t clear any of the songs that had Dre on them. Which hampers their ability to work together even if they wanted too
