Unsung heroes of E3

With some of the big announcements, I feel some great games that would have had the spotlight in lesser years, are getting ignored.


First off:

Horizon Zero Dawn

Open world Fantasy RPG with huge robot dinosaurs....nuff said

Supposedly has crafting, leveling, side quests, and everything else you'd expect from a rpg. Only concern is that GG have been hit or miss(mostly miss). But I'm willing to still be optimistic about this one.

Quick little trailer, but gives me some of the same feels as games like ICO, brothers, ect. Really looking forward to hear more about it.

Fallout 4 mods on consoles. Don't think people really let this one set in. FALLOUT MODS ON CONSOLES. There's still people making/playing fallout 3 mods on PC. This makes the best game at the show infinitely better.



Multiplayer stabbing

Never been a game like this before, this is something truly new and interesting. It doesn't sound like its anywhere near done though. Hopefully they have a beta in 2016

We had mods on games on the PS3 so I'm not surprised with that. Xbox Live was known to be very tight in allowing user created content (see Unreal Tourney 3), so it's a bigger deal with Xbox than PS3 in that regard. Good to see Phil removing a lot of the Xbox Live red tape.

We had mods on games on the PS3 so I'm not surprised with that. Xbox Live was known to be very tight in allowing user created content (see Unreal Tourney 3), so it's a bigger deal with Xbox than PS3 in that regard. Good to see Phil removing a lot of the Xbox Live red tape.

There is Unravel from EA and I cant remember if it was shown but it looks BEAUTIFUL and ingenious.

But seriously, we used the mods on UT3, me and @Deezay used to play it on the PS3. Only a limited number were available on Xbox 360 since MS had to approve it. There were unlimited mods that could be used on the PS3 version.

Even games like LBP with users created content.

Point is that Live was locked down more than PSN . It's not that way anymore. That's all.

No need to get defensive breh. I'm honoring my word and might retire in full from overboard stanning.
