No signal lights
No idea of traffic laws and how two lane streets work
Let alone the passing lane on the freeway
Pull out no matter what
Run red light right turns
Paper plates driving like it’s fukking Mario Kart
Paying more attention to their phones instead of the road
Especially when it comes to following navigation
Tailgating like that’s going to make the person go faster
Nah you liable to get your shyt shot up doing that shyt now
Overall inconsiderate a$$holes that only care about their destination and lives not other drivers

All of this plus…

- Complete disregard of stop signs and red lights
- Don’t even bother to pull over or stop for emergency vehicle sirens
- Using the shoulder or the opposite lane of traffic to pass
- Stuck on their phones for 5+ secs when the light turns green

Idk what it was about the pandemic but drivers been on some fukk shyt HEAVY over the last 2 years. Before Covid, you would see this fukk shyt pretty rarely but now I see most of it on the daily.

American selfishness and entitlement extends to operating a car. I set my cruise control on 65-70 and stay in the “slow lane”. When I see pick ups, Mustangs, Dodge products, or 18 wheelers, I get nervous.

Most people draw the wrong conclusions about this.

The problem isn't the drivers. The problem is the cars.

We need to design our cities (and the country, frankly) around walkability and cycling.
And we need to design our roads so that when people DO DRIVE, they drive SLOWER (this can be done locally by making roads narrower or having speed bumps/different road textures that encourage more attention on your surroundings)

I'm not suggesting a 40mph speed limit around the country, but it's just an obvious fact that when people drive faster, worse things happen.

I'd had my eyes opened by youtubers "NotJustBikes", "Strong Towns" and "Alan Fisher" about how car-centric design not only bankrupts our cities, but also makes it less safe, less healthy, and less enjoyable to live.

More public transit, less cars please.

Just the same you have people that do 45-50 and bunched up in the slow lane and won’t create space for people to exit on or off. Not saying you but people also assume that just because they are in the slow lane they aren’t bothering anyone and can do what they want also.
