:russ:4. People are genuinely friendly here, to the point I thought it was weird. But then I realized that’s just the unfriendly NY’er in me.

When I first moved here I had a neighbor from Alabama every time he would see me would just strike up a convo out of the blue all the time. I would say to myself why this negra talking to me I don't know him. Homie would invite me to his cookouts and I would never go until one day I went and his whole family treated me like I was in the family. Long story short he was my closet homies down here when I moved from VA and he died in a car accident maybe 3 years afterward.

We good morning gangsters.

You will have , a good morning. I don't give a shyt what you're going through. If you don't want this good morning with bass on the ing then let it be known cuz that unenthusiastic face make me feel like you need a good morning, nikka.

Edit.

This shyt kinda pisses me off.

There's people out there that are completely ignored and that good morning feels good for them. I know it feels good to me when I hear good morning. nikkas spoiled off good morning acting like they got beef over a good morning.

You don't know what I been through I killed 5 people before serial killer ass nikkas man.

Man please have a nice mother fukking day b.

Accept that people care.

Enough!

I’ve been to a few good spots of course. I would never say the food 100% sucks. I’m just missing variety. A lot of stuff is seafood boils, wings, bbq or fried this and that.

I went to an”Jamaican” spot the other day and was throughly disappointed. I should’ve known when the owner didn’t even have an accent:why:

most Jamaican spots are trash here. Go to Kempers Cafe on metropolitan or marguerite’s bistro in the beacon (it’s a little pricey tho)

Aight we gotta have an intervention on the food part, maybe you aren’t hitting the right spots.

What type of food do you look for and what are some places you’ve been?

Nice, yeah Rock Steady is good, I’m cool w/ the owner our dogs are friends :skip: their brunch is top notch, great vibes upstairs too it turns to a lounge at night. Recommend you try Le Fat on the same street if you like Vietnamese food.

Nuevo Laredo if you’re lookin for Mexican. Flying biscuit is cool but it’s more dime a dozen, they got like 8 of em around the city. Like someone else said JCT is really good if you’re lookin for another brunch move.

Six Feet Under is pretty good too if you’re lookin for seafood / oysters. Grant Park one is the original one but I like the one on 11th St. it’s got a good skyline view on the patio up top. Also, Spondivits :whew:

And of course, when you’re ready for the wings; JR Crickets, The Local, Wing Bar in EAV (also black owned),, and American Deli so you can say you’ve had em. People gon try you as an out of towner if wings come up and you say you’ve never been to American deli
