their brunch is top notch, great vibes upstairs too it turns to a lounge at night. Recommend you try Le Fat on the same street if you like Vietnamese food.
Nuevo Laredo if you’re lookin for Mexican. Flying biscuit is cool but it’s more dime a dozen, they got like 8 of em around the city. Like someone else said JCT is really good if you’re lookin for another brunch move.
Six Feet Under is pretty good too if you’re lookin for seafood / oysters. Grant Park one is the original one but I like the one on 11th St. it’s got a good skyline view on the patio up top. Also, Spondivits
And of course, when you’re ready for the wings; JR Crickets, The Local, Wing Bar in EAV (also black owned),, and American Deli so you can say you’ve had em. People gon try you as an out of towner if wings come up and you say you’ve never been to American deli
