Ima keep it 100, while we need to boycott Asians wholesale, when are we gonna get serious about our real enemy, white people? When are we gonna stop shopping at Walmart and Target? When are gonna stop buying products from Apple and Google? When are we gonna stop using Facebook and Twitter?

Boycotting Asian stores that oppress us is 100% just, but they're small fries compared to the Satan that has literally been murdering black people globally for the last 6-700 years.

That'll only happen when we start looking at the bigger picture as a group. We don't have a collective mindset that benefits us.Too many of us are stuck in our ways and the ones who aren't get laughed at when the idea of separation(financially, physically and literally) gets brought up. Another thing is black people for the most part don't realize the power that we do have(will). If a good portion follow that protocol and are successful then the majority of us should follow suit. That's how I think we could get on board as a group.

edit: Another thing is most people are followers for the most part. So areas that garner the majority of black attention like entertainment and church should/could be targeted to disseminate the idea of black separation. This is hypothetically but that's another way. A hard truth is that you can't save everybody.

So my question again is what are we going to do about it? I was watching a Dr. John Henrick Clarke lecture about the Civil Rights Movement and one of the things he said is somewhere along the lines black people have lost confidence in ourselves. It's like the will to compete and be producers got beaten out of us over time and now we're just stuck spinning our wheels.

Everything I've read about our history proves to me that we are more than capable of competing and beating white people at anything we put our minds to. We just have to finally start believing in ourselves again.

He has a point - every time Black people tried to start their own community and keep wealth inhouse white people found a reason to bomb it and kill everyone. Also have to remember that "black people" is an all encompassing term and on the "group" scale most people keep it small via those they share nationality with or tribal ties. Just don't want yall to get this mindset that black people don't try to do big things.

But what about all the things I listed? Where is the black owned internet service? Or the information you learn being taught by books written by white by people in college courses etc. Also, you don't force people to create businesses because you don't want to buy white owned things. Not everyone wants to be an entrepreneur, succeeds, or is good at it. And all those institutions, stores, and companies you go to...they still pay taxes to uncle Sam. And uncle Sam is white.
Uncle Sam isn't white, you pay taxes so the streets you ride and bridge you take don't collapse. You think that dam is free? You think the water you drink is treated for free? It's a system and the system has no actual colour. Welfare comes out of thin air? It's a system every race uses. :heh:

That was a long time ago. Now with the age of information, succeeding a business as a collective and without outside interference should be relatively easy. You don't even need to pay real estate on a business, you can even open up shop on the internet these days.

Barriers to entry has never stopped us before, why should it be an issue now? In 1873 C. R. Patterson, a runaway slave, was able to create the first African American owned car company.

If they were able to do it a few years removed from slavery, we have no excuse in 2016. A lot of what you guys are saying can't be done, we've already done it before.

You are talking bullshyt. This was under reconstruction which was the best time for blacks in America. This is 2016. We are not in the reconstruction time
